So much for retirement, new Albuquerque shop

    Congrats on the new shop But just a question That hotrodder Don who posted those photos has he got a yellow 34 coupe as I met a gentelman in Alberquerque in 02 at a drive in restrant at a caddi club night as we were on a trip to the caddi 100 year in Detriot.We also went to a young rodders shop hot rod haven I think is it still going. thanks for your time. Ray.

    No, I have a Red and Black 34 Coupe (see avatar). I've only had it since 2009.
    Jamie Johnston at Hot Rod Haven is still going and doing well.

    FWIW he's S and I'm H, initials of our last names. Older guys can remember it by thinking of green stamps! (that was done on purpose)
    mofuzz- really good point. My stepson is currently enrolled in school, taking machine trades at our local community college. He wants to take the shop to a level higher then I ever had it (me- build with a hammer & torch, him computers, loves cad and cnc stuff) and planning on metallurgy & welding next. Some business management courses as well is a REALLY good idea. I'm looking forward to him getting out of school so he can spend more then 20 hours a week in the shop but we know the school time is a good investment.
