    Hi All,

I just wanted to say a HUGGGGEEEE thank you to every single one of you that offered advice & suggestions for a shop. My first day off is Tuesday so I will be researching everywhere in the meantime. I'm working morning until night every day until then so that will be the first opportunity I'll have to have it checked out! It's going to be great to have rapport with a shop down here and be able to have hot rodders I know in San Diego! (I miss my Bay Area rodder family but I can't wait to adopt one down here!)

Thanks again for all the laughs and input! You're all awesome! I'll be sure to update the thread to let you all know what the problem was!! :)

Painkiller: I have an appointment for this tuesday. I spent last Tuesday looking into all the shops! As soon as I have an update, you all will be the first to know! :)

    McFly: thank you!! :)

  10. I've had one car do that before. Turned out to be water in the gas. Put a bottle of heat in the tank, problem cured. Never no, cheap to try.

Hey All, so sorry for such a long delay!! Just wanted to send an update. The problem was a faulty coil and ignition module.

I also ended up making a list of all the shops you all sent me and made a map going from north to south San Diego with Hot Rod & Custom stuff being the first stop. As soon as we got there, they gave us a tour of the place and made us feel at home and like we had a sd hot rod family. We ended our search there and we were very happy with the job and their customer service! Thanks Randy and thanks everyone who contributed to this thread! Xo

  19. I was just gonna say.....ALWAYS San Diego Rod & Custom in SD. My bro and I live in SD and have been working on cars here for almost 10 years. Abe at SDRC is a great friend and runs the best hot rod shop in town. Definitely give them a call first, they work on everything!
