Just get plugs for a 92 350 truck engine. Stay with what the engine came with.

  3. Those two engines call for different plugs. I'd run the ones for the 92 and gap them for points.

    AC cr43ts gapped at 40

  5. .035 gap for points ignition and R44TS would be a good starting point for plugs.

  6. I would use AC R44 gapped at 0.035 for points type distributor.

  7. x2........

  8. Aren't R44 plugs flat seat plugs with gaskets?

1992 heads use the taper seat plugs.
I think the '71 heads also used tapered seat plugs.

I would start in the middle, R-45TS The 45's seem to work in everything I have.

  11. Might consider a cam swap from the TBI unit to one for a carb motor; as long as the plugs make a decent spark, it's not going to matter a lot, but the gap does need to match the points ignition.

Gapped @ .035. If the engine has alot of miles you're better off with a hotter plug. CR-45ts is what I run in my 400,000 mile '89 Chevy trk. Work great.
