splitting a Buick 8 manifold?

    Anybody ever do this?the 4th and 5th ports share the same chamber so the only logical way to split them would be 5 and 3?Im stumped,any insight would greatly appreciated.thanks-Jaime

    Is it the 248/263 or the larger 320? The exhaust manifold on the 320s had a removable heat riser/outlet section that allowed access to the 4/5 ports; you may be able to weld a splitter plate in the center to divide it 4 and 4. I know that a lot of guys used to settle for the 5 and 3 split.

    it is the small 8,do you know if the 40-41 dual ex manifold will work with the '36 single intake manifold?

    Yes, they'll work. A blockoff plate over the heat riser box is needed ...
