Lots of great stuff here again this week! I've been busy, but not a lot to share. Here's one I literally whipped up last night for a friend. Not my 'best' work, but I was crunched for time. His girlfriend's father was the late Preston Honea...this was a car he drove...

And I saw 'iwanaflattie' had posted a bus which made me think of this. I was contacted last year to design graphics for a bus. The guy was unsure of which design he would finally end up with based on his painter, but this was my favorite of the concepts...

I need to contact the owner again to see how it's coming.

Wow!! So much over the top creativity and talent this week. I feel like I have been away for months when its really only been a couple weeks. I have been super busy and am just starting to get some of my GNRS 2012 stuff done. Here are a few:

That off topic wagon reminds me of my childhood. Long family trips sitting in the jump seat in the back with my cousins fighting and throwing stuff out the window!Of course this was back in the late 70's and early 80's in the family Ford LTD wagon.

    Bomonster - Stellar!
Buick59 - Perfect lighting and color.
cixpack - that is really cool and different.
    MikePA - very cool photos!
CorvetteBob - Super high quality and outstanding as always - whatever that strange vehicle is.
Neatname - love those relics in the snow!
Kenmo - great shots of all those shoeboxes (and all the others). Very well done.
Jigger - that flying Plymouth police car is very cool!

    Thanks belair and Dan.

@Dan Greenberg - that 56 Vic color-block-styled image showing the white car against a full pallette of every color looks simply stunning.

I will have to work hard for next Friday!

    What a show all.

    Cheers

I was holding these back as I wasn't sure whether tractors were relevant but since seeing Mr. Mullens post I guess they are Honky enough so here goes with my second post of the day:

  15. "Emerging Journey" is my entry this week. Actual rendering is much smaller. Scanners are swell. :) Amazing work from everyone again!

  18. Thanks all, I greatly appreciate the feedback!

Here's a re-pop of another flying Plymouth that 'flew' under the OT radar befoer even though I was
certain I was pushing the envelope way too much. (Be warned Martin, the tractors are fantastic but may get a call out. beautiful sketches, man.)

We should have a whole other thread for Post-It sketches. That would generate some AWESOME work. Maybe that could be a Thurs. thread everyweek. I cant tell you how often I find myself doodling on a Post-It. Nice by the way.

Martin, those tractor pieces are great!

Nice stuff guys! Always happy when friday comes around... partially because it's friday, but also because FAS never dissapoints! :)

Anyway nothing finished yet, but it's a mad race to Autorama... waiting on everything to get printed...stickers, shirts, art...craziness.

Here are some sketch work teasers for the new upcoming Blueprint series "We Three Kings" ...should be ready for the Detroit show
