I removed the t-slot molding tonight. Thanks to the advice of Chris Casny the removal went rather easy.

I think that loosing the vent wings on that car make the build look too "new" Great on my AD Chevy truck but not so great for a traditional shoebox Ford if it is to stay traditional.
With the wings gone you get some extra wind buffeting at highways speed on most rigs. The laid back windshield on my 48 negates most of that and I get poor air circulation in hot weather.
Damn I like what you have done with that car and wish I could talk a friend out of the one he has out in the weeds behind his house that he will never do anything with.

Body is basically stripped and molding welded up. Making nice progress.

the antena is a hard decision...It would look good with a actual antena poking through yet it distracts the eye from the all over smoothness of the ride, maybe because there isnt any paint on it etc..I love frenched antenas ,so with paint and a nicely executed pin stripe it may just pop

Jambs and windows are sandblasted. Trim holes welded up. Making progress everyday.
