Hey those are different headers than the ones built in the Austin speed shop video. I liked the old ones!
DAMN! Of course it would be in Texas! Wish I was closer...Nice ride,Jesse. Hope somebody takes a bunch of pic's!!!!
Great story! They had a shoot out in Dexter about half hour away from Des Moines, here. Also say there car at the casino on the state line between Nevada/California afew years back.
Sounds like it's gunna be a great run, can't wait to see the pix...Jesse those pix are to cool ,great looking roadster ....Rod. Sent from my iPhone using TJJ
Anybody notice the right rear taillamp of the B400 Bonnie is sitting on is mounted upside down? Was probably added at the dealership when new and nobody noticed.
I'm sure it's been covered here, but I always get a kick out of Clyde Barrow's "thank-you" letter to Henry Ford. Link here: http://www.snopes.com/business/consumer/barrow.asp
Great read Ryan . . . and a Fantastic promo! We're so far removed from the reality of it that celebrating the badassness is about like utilizing the Jolly Roger for the same purpose. No connection to the reality of it . . . it is symbolic only.
Are there going to be any prints of the event poster for sale? I won't be able to make it,but would like a copy of the poster.
One of the license plates from that B400 showed up for sale a couple years back; had some rust speckles but not too bad. I'd post the image but Photobucket is getting snippy with me about bandwidth usage again...
Great intro!! Now you better take lots of picts for the rest of us!! Seriously looking forward to your event coverage. Your writing paints such a great picture in my head.
Because deep inside, just about everyone wants to be the "out law/out cast". Hot Rodders were once thought of as JD's and cast outs of society. Hell, that's half the fun of being one.
Looking good...the roadster not you Kail haha. I see you decided to go with a semi-traditional set of headers Jesse. I liked the video on the build of the other ones, but these do look more at home on that car. I wish I didn't live 7 hours away and had to work weekends! I'd be there! Did my '55 get banished to the lot outside? Haha
Hey guys, we will have posters available soon..We'll post them up on here once I have them in my hot little hands Thanks
Beautiful roadster A.S.S.. I wish I could make this. I noticed you guys doing some filming on this thing several weeks ago, is there a new video we should keep our eyes opened for.
