Funny to see this, that 55 used to belong to a buddy of mine on Cape Cod. It was called "100 Proof" The name of the shop I worked at was still on the Pass side quarter panel. Somebody had started to take all the lettering off, but stopped after the drivers side. Funny how it's made it's way to Missouri. The owner was trying to sell it last year on Ebay....

 

I know this thread is old as hell, but it is also cool as hell!....And I am tired of having to go through all the trouble to search it out. So I am posting on it so I can find it easy....LOL

 

With the HAMB Drags only a couple of weeks away, a good time to bring this thread back to the top.
Great road trip story, would like to do that one day.

 

We had an awesome time. Once in a lifetime trip full of great memories. Except for the electrical problems. Could have done without that. Made it interesting to say the least..
