About a week ago I was lookin around on craigslist and came up on this beautiful polished 110 Magnusson roots Blower set up for a SBC. When I got to the guys house I looked inside and of course! there is no rotors in it. He tells me that he took them out to inspect the inside, and that they were in "this shop somehwere". All A lie. Having hard time finding any parts or info on this setup. Anybody got any ideas or parts? This thing is way to pretty to hang on the wall, and the idea of a fake blower just doest cut it for me. Thanks.

The Magnacharger was a popular supercharger on Top Fuel motorcycles back in the day. In fact, Jerry Magnason worked closely with motorcycle drag racers. You might have better luck finding parts at an old bike shop.

BTW, dont call Magnuson for parts or advise.

I talked to a guy that was in a real hurry to tell me No.

Even before he knew what I had or what I was trying to do...

If I were you I'd be seeking a refund instead of seeking needles in the haystack.

First, I want to see this blower, can you post pictures?

Second, do an introduction, makes life on here a lot easier.

Third, you got taken, shame on you.

    Fourth, welcome to the Hamb.

You won't be able to put that together yourself anyway, the rotors have to be clocked and timed and set with machine tools you probably don't have. I have worked with that exact same blower, they tend to blow up a lot, which is why they stopped making them. You should take it back to the guy and demand your money back. $800 is FAR too much for a used 110 on top of all of it, polished or not. The guy lied to you from the get go, there is absolutely zero reason to take the rotors out to "inspect the case". I think he blew it up, took it apart and then said "screw it, I'll just rip somebody off." Unforunately, that person was you. You can take him to court over it if you want. You will have to ignore about 2/3rds of the jackasses on the hamb, most of them are trolls that are only on here to dog on others and yell and scream about "rat rods".

    Yeah...

    Rude, disinterested and unhelpful.

I'm knee deep into forced induction projects right now.

If I'm ever in need of a complete supercharger setup,
I'll make sure I wont spend my money with them.

ya im shure someone did blow it up but it wasnt him. turns out i know the guy where he got it from. it didnt have any parts then either. Ya he told lots of lies about this but kharma will get to him im shure, and i get an expensive lesson learned. It is what it is. As far as These "trolls" go there just wasting their own time lol.
