I love toy cars. Even when you only have 5 or 10 bucks in your pocket, it is a thrill to walk into an old antique mall where most people are looking for wicker chairs, oil lamps or fiesta ware and discover a vintage well loved plastic or metal toy car pushed back to the rear of a shelf somewhere.

I have a lot of neat old toy cars, and while many of them came from friends, family or my own childhood, a LOT of them were just flea market discovered, unloved and forgotten by their original young owners, quickly rescued and welcomed into my little collection where they could be loved once again...

Yup,those old toys bring back fond memories. Man, I spent countless hours playing with toy cars and, later, building models.
Here's a survivor from high school days.

I've never seen a tin toy Willys before; it's great! Do you know who made it?

This one is a Yat Ming white metal....

  18. Check eBay, there is or was one on this week. It was near mint condition and was around $40.00 I think. I just paid $45.00 for a yellow NYLINT Roadster at a small antique mall. That is the most I have ever paid for one, but it was mint perfect!

The Willys is white metal? I can't understand the dents and rust, then. Unless you've simulated them??

The Jetsons arrived in this green "lucky-bag-whatever", but the real surprise underneath reads "340 km/h", after calling the SCTA they made me a life member in the famous 200mph club, it should make over 211....!! who's to prove? :D and a real bargain for only 10 cents...
