So I just read all the posts and looked at all the pictures. I have to say I'm overwhelmed with how much talent and dedication you have Brian. Reading this makes me want to try even harder on my own projects, even step back...slow down and say to myself..."what would Brian do?" Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to share your expertise and knowledge Brian, you are a true master of the trade.

Mildly aggressive stance, has the chassis been pie cut, or is it the camera angle? Thanks for the update. Bob [IMG]

Bob, the chassis has not been pie-cut...so I'm going to have to go with the camera angle.

"Mildy agressive" is not really what comes to mind when I look at this car. More like "mean sumbitch"...or "hide your kids, hide your wives"...or "it's the one that says bad motherfucker." :)

Can't wait to see what you do for the hood sides.. which brings up a question. Will the hood sides clear the Hemi with what you've done here or are you going to have to put blisters in the sides?

    Brian,
How are you attaching the rivets on your dress up brackets, etc.?
I would like to use something (hardware, rivet, etc.) to emulate rivet heads on my motor mount brackets.
    Thanks!

Hey Brian...love this thread, just spent alomost an hour loking at the early chassis pics for inspiration...Thanks again for answering my steering box and caster questions so quickly. This thing just has a bitchen profile and the stance is perfect, everyone needs a goal and I guess mine is to build something that inspires people the way this car inspired me.

    Trunk floor finished.

Mounting the Indy Halibrand style fuel filler cap. I stamped the piece on the left myself.

The trunk is almost complete now. I just have to do some finish welding and connect the cap to the tank. After I 'notch' the new decklid skin, I'll send it out for louvers before attaching it to the inner decklid panel.

That last series of photos is a good indicator of why this car is taking so long to build.
