I'm an old fart, originally from southern NY, Raced at National Speedway (sunday) and Englishtown in the 60's. Olds 88's with Lasalle floor shift trannys were my thing in the 50s after the army. Now its my 79 Cordoba which I bought new and still have. Its had several different lives; began as my daily driver, then turned bracket racer with a welded up rear until that broke. then I got serious, Built a 475 hp 360, 727 tranny, 8 3/4 rear with 4.56's and a roll bar. Best time 11.65 @ 118 with a time slip to prove it. Racing got expensive so I built a street motor, put an A518 od tranny and now drive it on the street. Thats about it
Hey Jay, I'm originally from Springfield, moved to Bama in 1971, welcome to the Hamb. Not many traditional builders in the upper New England states, but I'm sure it will grow in time!
