I picked up a set of cycleray headlights from a farmer these are 6volt with screw type connectors on the bottom side on the back side of the bucketwhere it says cycle ray it has guide written in script they are chrome.i hear these came on mid to late 30's harleys and crosley's ? Help please I would like to know more about them because they are in really fair condition and I am thinking ofusing them on my 41 plymouth project

  2. Cycleray's were original equipment on Harleys but were used on other bikes as well.

Does it say Cycleray on the lens as well?

Do you have any pictures that could possibly help in identifying the era?

Cycleray lights were used on harleys into the 50's. They are being reproed now...kinda steep, but the new lenses are reasonable if yours are cracked.
