trying to build my own pedal assembly. but cant come up with some blueprints anywhere any help would be greatly appriciated
Do you have a donor vehicle somewhere you could drop a set out of? You could get a set you like, and copy/make changes in it to clean it up some. Make your own pedal arms and bracketing, but copy the geometry of the donor.

um i may have a donor set if i can find them at my dads and hell letme use them im running a hydrolic setup though and aint sure about all that stuff lol

Fabbed mine for my 50 shoebox budget build. It ties it to the dash board as well the cowl. No flex. The pedal is a slightly modified earl chevy truck i believe. No drawings just built as i went. Still in the rough but you get the idea.

What are you putting it in? Reason I ask is that a friend of mine is building a '46 Ford pickup. I had a '52-'56 Ford car pedal assembly gathering dust. We discovered that this pedal assembly fits the '40-'47 truck cab like it was custom made for it.

I just finished up making mine yesterday, lot's of pics's here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=664434 I used a 5/8 pivot, the pedal arm is 1/2" thick, I don't think 1/4" seems beefy enough. My setup is only one pedal but expanding it out to 2 wouldn't be that difficult.
