The Allard J2x project that Limeworks restored got 2nd place at The Grand national Roadster Show in the division it was competing in. And well deserved i might add. When i first brought the job to Steve i knew he was the right man to do the job. The owner of the car, who lives in hawaii had gone through hell with several shops over the years and is now so happy i recomended Limeworks to do the car. Hats off to Steve and the gang at Limeworks for a job well done.

Very pretty car. Congratulations on your award. Cannot imagine the effort to get a car to that level of finish.

What is in the car for power?

Pretty nifty. I remember last reading on the rebuild thread that the push was on to get it finished, then not much as obviously the car was more important than posting pix. Good to see it got done in time and folks liked it. What class was it entered? Is there one for restorations? old specials? or what? Thanx, Gary

Thanks guys, it was entered in European Sports car , by the judges, not built as a show car just street & track but as it came out pretty good I thought I'd put her in the show , it was a kick for the owner who flew in from Hawaii for the show. Next project for him is a 1947 WW II Jeep I have to put a flathead V8 in that & restore it too, the fun continues :)

Great car! congrats to Steve, Limeworks and the owner.

I guess I thought a trophy from the GNRS would be a bit more impressive quality wise though...
