Help how do i get the trim off 30 model a

    Hi i cant figur out how to get the trim off the cowl i dont feel any screw on clips i tryed prying but its not budging . thanks for any help.

  2. the cowl band?
    there are 2 1/4 20 nuts that are in the triangle opening under the wooden angled floor board
    was that clear as mud??

  3. yea like two J bolts way on the bottom on the inside hard to find???:D

    Yep, the way they work is the studs are angled so they stretch the band down over the shape of the cowl and hold it tightly in place. Getting a band off is no problem, putting it back on after the car is painted can be a real pain. :)

    i will post pics when i can figure outmy camera to computer technical difficulties...grrrrr :) .

    the car has now been reduced to a body sitting on a frame....
     
  11. The most common camera to computer problem is not setting the camera to the lowest resolution. High resolution is good for vacation photos but low resolution is required for photo posting (be sure to set your camera back to high resolution after taking the pictures). If you lost your instruction manual for the camera most of them are availbale free on line from the camera manufacturer. Most camera stores are willing to help you change the settings. There are also companies out there selling the same information so be sure to go to the mauufacturer.

    thanks charlie. its not a camera resolution problem. its actually trying to get the photos off the camera. i'm an amateur photographer in my free time so its nothing new to me but the computer has been a bit finicky lately.

    If you have a real early 1930 there are clips with nuts along the top as well. I've only seen one in 50+ years in the hobby.
