If you can't see the passion in the complete picture here and all you have to offer is Prius bashing, you need to move on to a different thread ...and possibly reconsider why you're even on this forum.

Awesome update! Can't argue with the gas mileage of the Prius either! Looking forward to more updates!

I stuck a hitch on a 2001 Malibu, built a light trailer and went to Utah from Wichita Ks to pick up a Model T.. Going to do the same to a Aveo, to haul lighter stuff..

The roadster was shaping up to be way cool. I'm excited to see it will still happen.

I agree on the tires. Just like the little books. There's a project I hope to get a shot at someday... and if I do, it's getting a pair of those slicks.

Glad to see the pieces going back together for you Tuck. You should know that the talk you and I had when you vended the Pile-up more than a couple years back was one of the main motivators for my getting into screen printing.

    Just a quick update...

I've been busting ass on the 58 at Perrys- finished the metal work and its on to epoxy... except for a couple areas that were a time money thing- its pretty much almost all metal finished- really clean-

Inbetween perrys and getting an eye exam I fired up the sand blaster and hit my frame with the x-member removed. I need to bring it into work and fix the one rail thats bent. Its looking pretty good!

I'm hoping I can save the x-member too- I'll know more when I get it blasted.

    With back seat traction control!

  23. If they made a Prius version of the VW Caddy, with big brakes/regenerators and could tow 5K lbs, I bet a lot of us would have one... Electric motors = instant torque, even at 1 rpm.

    Go! Tuck, Go!

Paints drying in the booth- so Im checking in....

    Gearing up for good things...
Ordered spray guns today- and a gun with a shot gun tip to spray flake-
Perry gave me a variable speed buffer- so I ordered up the pads and compounds to go with it to buff the paint on the roadster.

Finished blasting the frame last night- and started to work on the Garage- started to organize everything- and started to layout the peg board stations for tools. Were gonna put up a heater I'm getting from Dan Pate and insulate the garage for now so I have a workshop to work in... kinda like Moriairty :) He builds that crazy shit in a 2 car garage... so can I!

I have customer stuff to do on top of this so its kinda crazy- but I try and work on the garage a couple hours each day- and then I shift gears to art.

I need a maid because the house looks like a mad man lives there- no end in sight[TM]

Might sneak the frame in to the shop on Sunday and get it set up on the frame rack and fix it-

    Ok back to work------>
