I think waiting was the worst part for me. It was an emotional roller coaster ride that I took my family on. My thoughts are with you!

  2. Praying for you tomorrow Scot!

I'm sorry for your experience, but I think your comment is COMPLETELY inappropriate.

What he said....Attitude is everything. I had a stalker exgirlfriend that shot me 4 times...the doctors told me I'd be permanently crippled, on a feeding tube and not able to talk. Now I've proved them all wrong, i'm back riding my bike and wrenching on my old car. NEVER GIVE UP

  5. Scot,
I was thinking about you today and hope everything went well.

    (any cute nurses?)

Never lose faith. You'll be fine. Do what the Doctors tell you.
I didnt once and paid for weeks. (I'm the guy that does this at home).
    Prayers for you and yours.

Scot, that's GREAT news! Doctors don't make statements like "I think we got it all" if they're not certain. Yes, they make mistakes, but I take some faith in a skilled man's word.

Don't go full-bore PLEASE. Allow yourself time to recover, your body will need it whether you think it does or not. Follow their regimen to a T, maybe even go easier than they recommend for your own health and longevity. I know I'm not the only one who wants to see that truck done!

  17. Awesome news Scot! Take it easy and don't hit it too hard too fast....don't wanna send yourself backwards. :D

That's great news! While you are recovering - you can start the:

"So Much I Want To Do List"

(You may have to edit it - once off the pain meds!;))

That is some great news, Scot!
You'll be fine now, but as mentioned, let your body heal a little but keep your mind sharp. It'll let you know when it's time to get back to full bore!
