Looking to paint my 29 Sedan a classic steel blue.
    KINDA LIKE THIS
    OR MAYBE THIS.
There's a member on the HAMB here, has this color in his avatar of a 1940 Ford this color.
Lets see some of these cars for some inspiration. Extra credit if you mention the origin of the color paint. Thanks!

I know I'm a long way from painting the whole car, but the frame's almost done and my stuff lives outside under a carport, want to paint as I go.

here's another 40 in cloud mist grey but a little darker with more green than my coupe-the color on my coupe was taken from underneath the decklid via computer match

  11. Light Arctic Grey, base coat clear coat. It's a 90s Dodge van color. Almost an exact match for a 29 Ford color I believe called Dove Grey.

  16. The color inside the trunk is a New Mini color (A74, Oxygen Blue) The pic makes it look a little bluer that it is. It's greener and darker in person.

This is primer that I mixed using and apple green and grey primer. I didn't want to run around with the typical color primer ...........:)

This is more what I call "Sea Foam", but I think it was the factory color, and the roof and part of the rear panel were either a white or a greyish white. Hood ornament is an aftermarket item, and the most expensive part on the car :)
