Suspension rebuild parts options?????

I have often wondered if there our shops and or ??? out here that a fella can send in his upper and lower ball joints,tie rod ends...ect to have them rebuilt for a reasonable price. I have been shopping the net only to find that the upper and lower ball joints for my 55 Lincoln are going to cost well over a grand to have replaced and i am required to send them in and they will have them rebuilt. Seems like the middle man is killing me here. Help a brutha out on this one

 

Time to think 2001 and up Crown Vic clip.

 

Now you have my ears itching. I just happen to have a 2002 in the back of the shop.What are the trick to welding the clip in???
