I just put it in my calender. We are moving back to Livermore, Ca March 1st. Can't wait to take the family to this event...my boys are going to love it.

You guys GOTTA hit this event. I've been involved with drag racing since birth. i'm a funny car kid. i grew up at OCIR. i spent my weekends at the so cal tracks that were still open.

what I can tell you is that Eagle Field its the REAL DEAL!!!

Rocky puts on one hell of a show and its unlike ANYTHING going on at this time.

get in line and run what you brung. no headaches, no hassles. excellent drag action ALL DAY LONG!!!!

sweet vintage cars hitting its hard, street cars flogging it like there's no tomorrow, full blown racers eating up the asphalt and smoking the quarter.

this is unlike ANY event out there. for me, THIS IS the march meet reborn. I LOVE this event, the tack, the promoters and the racer.

Jeff and I had a great time last year. We're looking forward to running again. We've got both cars running in the low 10's (1/4 mile). So it should be fun.

Steve McCann is ready and waiting for the gate to open on May 19th and assalt the historic runway with his all steel, Blown and injected Anglia!

 

For the purists, that is a Thames, not an Anglia. If I can swing it i would like to bring my '48 Thames to the event. We'll see what the wifey says! Any nice shopping malls nearby?

Just 46 days to go and the event is coming together! I spoke with Filmmaker Faith Granger and we will be showing the "Deuce of Spades" movie in the hanger Friday and Saturday nights. She will be on hand with the "Duece" and the movie display to answer all your questions and have autographed DVD's available. Race ticket holders get to watch the movie for $5 and if ya want to see just the movie that's OK, we'll have special parking for movie goers who come out Friday or Saturday night with ticket prices $10 a person at the Hanger door!
