So it's about time i get a build thread started on this thing! I've had it since March of last year, and the week after i got it my license got suspended, i lost my job, and i moved. being in that situation i decided to put it off until i was a little more determined and not as broke. About 2 months ago i pulled it out of the garage, re-did my brake system, got it running up to par. took it for its first drive since i have owned it, and fell in love. it has a 223 i6, 3 on the tree. about 2 days ago i bought a 302 with 60,000 miles on it and it runs great. I am in the proscess of swapping it from fuel injection, to carb and picking up a T-5 tranny tomorrow afternoon. this is going to be my slow project, and my learning grounds, so i will be asking a ton of questions! Thank you all for all of the helpful info on the website, i couldn't get half of this shit done without it!
The first few pics are when i bought it

I always thought these were great looking trucks. I'm not sure exactly why, but i really like the brown and white.

It's starting to grow on me. It looks mean with the faded maroonish color. Thanks!

Keep at it. They are great old trucks. Tons of character.

The plan was to swap to a cable clutch, but my wife has shown alot of interest in driving it as much as me, so in went an aod.
