I got my Nail head back!

    After finding out last spring I had coolant in my oil, I pulled the 322 from my 56 Buick.

    It ran good for being in such a condition.

    The freeze plugs had seen better days.:rolleyes:

    Once it had been bored .030 over and rebuilt by my father in law, it finally made its way back home.

    At least I have a winter project to keep me busy. I missed all of last year because of this. I am dying to drive it again

    Good that you can rest assured, that the guy that rebuilt it (your FIL) did a good job for you. Confident cruising comin' this season! Looks nice too.

    Damn good looking motor!
    Get busy good weather is a few weeks away.

    Spent today tearing down a 425 for my 56.

    ever figure out how the coolant was getting in the oil?

    Head gasket was going bad. I found the problem when I went to change valve cover gaskets.
