Names for your car........Let's hear em.

My 5-yr old named him Eyeball. Said it looks like a bloody Eyeball.

 

I don't get it? Why name a car?
I understand race cars getting a name painted on them but a hot rod? why?

I dunno. Sometimes they sort of name themselves. My coupe is the only car I've ever had that had a name.

 

I dont know the same reason why any time someone ask a question on here someone always has to be a dick!

If I was trying to be a dick I would have said something like,
"Hey, you know that bloke that calls himself Gump? What a dickhead he is".
But I wasn't trying to be a dick I was asking a question because I can't see the point in it.

Lincoln, Ram for the Van, Red for the Sabaru
& Bird for the T-Bird
No special Names for any of them
if you wanted you could call them all Money Pit

Our Coupe is "Henry's Spinnin'" whilst the Roadster is just "Dirty 6" at the moment.

my chevy name is moody blue name it when i frist got it it would throw blue smoke out the tail pipes sometimes. my ford is called loose change cause most of it was built with used parts. my caddy is goomba 1 it,s a 60,s caddy

I named mine Jake after the former owners son who he bought the car for @ pomona and it was his sons dream to run the car @ pamona but that never happened he passed away before he could do so, He had a heart condition and wen tin for surgery and didnt make it. The car was left in the garage and not touched from 1966-68 to 2011 RIP Jake

 

That's sad, but ya' gotta' have a dream. A fitting tribute. Take good care of "Jake".

Well, I sold both cars this past Fall but plentiful with boats!

My other boat I just bought the end of last Summer. So, I haven't named her yet. This is "Ole Gray". My Dad named it back in 1977.

I call my car 'The Hell Bitch' because, it breaks down about every 200 miles and when I work on it some how it knocks me on the head or cuts me some how. We have a love hate relationship and I feel abused.

Mine is called Dirtbag. When the truck came to my shop, it was uncovered from a tarp it had been under for over a decade and the cab and box were full of garbage and dirt. My teenagers told me the "hat truck is such a dirtbag piece of shit" so the name Dirtbag has stuck with it. I have a side line business doing custom paint that is also called Dirtbag Kustoms, so I guess this is the start of the shop truck build
