I built this car at work when I worked at a shop here in Michigan and the shop was done with, closed up and this car was auctioned off in Florida I think at an RM auction? A few other guys had there hands in this too but I do not know if they are hambers so I am not taking all the credit. I put it together and got it running. It was cleaned off and those colors were under the grease coating it had on it when we bought it. Thing about this coupe was the rear window. You could see a faint outline where the metal was cut but there was no evidence of weld on either side, it was done flawlessly some time in the past. The lettering was added later. I just want to know what happened to her? Supposedly she was an old Mexican race car. Any help??
This is the earliest pic I can find on my computer, the Grancor engine in this pic is now in Japan, the motor was replaced with an 8ba with Edelbrock heads and intake.
No info on where it is, sorry..But that does have a few interesting features. .. The back window sure is unique, and it's not often you see parallel leafs out back on a 32. Cool little car. Good luck in your search. Tony
Wow, I never noticed that. Has to be a fake plate right? That was Lucas's first film. That is weird. I think it is a 1952 plate. I do remmeber one guy, Ryan Curtis. If you are on here, chime in please.
The car was talked about here on the HAMB when it was on that auction site that gets threads closed if mentioned. Hard to forget that back window. Good luck in your search.
This is how we left it, we never painted it. The shot with me was the day we loaded it for the auction.
Actually got alot of info on it from a guy on the barn, here is what he posted. I am so stoked to see her again!
