I appreciate all the Pics of 62's! When I was a Kid many many Moons ago, my Uncles had 62 Chevy's. One of my Uncles had a red 4-speed Impala, one Uncle had a white one with blue trim Impala, and my other Uncle had a pale yellow convertible Impala. Man, there were really nice to have! I always felt really proud to be in them when we rode around town. I guess that started my love affair with the 62 Chevy! I like all cars and trucks, but my heart has always been true to the 62 Chevy. I wish that someone would reproduce more parts for them such as a good stock Hood among other things. Thanks again for the pictures and the memories that they bring back to me.

Always been a fan of the late great Chevrolet models. 62 is one of my favorite years out of the bunch...

 

Me too. At the ripe old age 15 it was my first car. Everytime I see one of those '62 Belair bubbles, I just shake my head. Insult to injury, I sold a nice southern black Impala 2dr 4 spd, some years later when I was old enough to know better. If there's ever a third '62, it's stayin'...

 

My first car in high school a 62 Imapla originally ordered new by my dad. This photo was taken in 1968. It was a 283, powerglide.
