That's a sweet one. You never see these any more up here in Michigan. So much better then the new models.

Austin was what I was thinking by it's size, so that sounds about right.

yeah thanks bigbadcad- I thought I was gonna cry myself to sleep again, I need a break after two nights reading this thread. Looking forward to your build!

  7. You need to come down south if you like those. They inundate all the car shows down here. More Camaros around now than when they were new. I get sick of seeing them.

  8. I swear I am like a moth to the flame with this thread. I keep coming back and looking but seeing each photo makes me feel like I have just drunk acid!

i wouldnt have a problem seeing ANYTHING older then 1990 on the roads up here in roadsalt heaven.

i'd drive cross country to get at one of those camaros

  10. Almost, It,s an A40 Somerset. Almost allways the convertibles are basket cases. I had two of the mongrels myself. Beautiful cars in good condition. The Atlantic was A90 and bigger. In between there was the A70 Hereford.

Neither, it's a civilian CJ2A...if you look close you can see the "Willys" script on the side of the hood.

I know this one isn't sitting and rotting, but I thought some of you might get a kick out of seeing one of these Kompac trailers in a little better condition. I saw this one up at Auburn a couple of years ago. Hadn't seen one since I was a kid. :D

  20. How neat is that! These were being reproduced by a company called Car Twin Trailers a few years ago. Don't know if they're still around but they still show up in address searches on the web.

Here's a few that I've found over the years. I found the model A in a pasture 10 miles from my house.

  26. Just a little reminder to those new members posting on the hamb. Even though we all enjoy this thread, its kind of getting out of hand with the off topic posts. The hamb is supposed to be about 1964 and older cars/trucks. Camaros and Firebirds have their own web sites, like carsinbarns. Posting off topic pictures will eventually get it closed like some other threads have been.

  30. Thanks mate....I appreciate it! You must have shown it before....I'm sure I've seen that a little while back....? Is it for sale? Did you get much of a look at it in terms of how well it's been done?
