I am going to start producing the "Speed Demon" quick change and I am hoping to have a few done by the Roundup for display. Bob has been a big help and is a super nice guy, nothing will change on the style or quality of the rear ends.
    PRICES
    Closed Rearend..............$1125 with core
    Open Rearend.............$1325 with core
    Core charge is $200

Hear X 4. Great news and best of luck on this.

I was going to call Bob about these too. May I offer a suggestion? If you start making these, how possible would it be to offer a cover without the "speed demon" demon head? The lettering is cool. The demon, well let's say a little hookey IMO.

Yeah, I know the buyer can grind it off. I just don't like doing that after laying out cash for a "new" part.

If not, I would still go for it. As I mentioned, just a suggestion.

I am gathering all the materials to build the rearends, there will be a core charge if you donn't have the center section and pinion. I am adding up the cost of the materials and looking for the lowwest cost materials I can find to keep the cost down for everyone. I will be starting the list of people wanting the rearends built, just e-mail me @ [email protected] and I can put you on a list. It will be around the 1st of April before I start assembling the rearends. I am going to try to have a few in stock before I start selling them to the public so that there is not a long wait.
    Thanks RC

Glad to hear that this rear end is not going to be relegated to the history books. Well done on getting the tooling to build them again

    I have a question.

Are the Winters Q/C 10 spline gears suitable to run on a 10 spline pinion?

    Why ask that?

A lot of guys have early 10 spline centres, and I see you can buy the same type of gears from Winters in both 6 and 10 splines. If one was to buy 2 sets of gears - one 6 spline and the other 10 spline - are you able to mix and match them, given that the quill shafts are 6 spline?

    TIA

I searched but I didnt come up with anything other than the rear cover. Anyone got some pics of the Deamon?

I'm not an expert but I believe that the 10 spline gears are 3-1/2 inch center to center and the 6 spline are 3 inch c to c....

  15. I might like one. When will pricing be sorted out?
