Lakeroadster , you had a nice little 27 body to start off with, looked pretty solid. Turned out nice. Keep them "Before and After" photos coming m.ralph

My Chopped 37 Chevy Sedan that I built in the late 80's and recently bought back last year. Still looks the same and I love it.

Another one of my creations from several years ago. An old barn fresh 37 Chevy pickup that I turned into a Kingcab. Still drive it now and then. Still not completely finished but sure has been is a lot of fun.

My most recent project. A 56 Chevy 2dr station wagon that I turned into and ElCamino. I am very pleased at how this one is turning out. Drove it to Detroit last year for the Woodward Cruise and it got a lot of positive feedback.
Most of my ideas I try to draw out and some I built from little diecast or plastic models first.

I recently sold this car that I built in 2004. It was a 1958 Chevy Biscayne that I turned into a mild Custom. Nose and decked it, used 50 Pontiac taillights and a 54 Chevy grille to get the look I wanted. My grandsons loved to cruise in it. They called it "The noisy car". Sold it to make room for my old 37 Sedan that I bought back. They love cruising in that now too.

I was reading through this thread and had to laugh......

iwanaflattie, should'nt your signature line say "model a ford and a tank full of gas, a mouthful of pu$$y and a handful of a$$" NOT "model a ford and a tank full of gas
    a handful of pu$$y and a mouthful of a$$"

I think of most of us on here would rather eat pu$$y than a$$. But to each his own.

First day she pulled in from off the truck. How can I forget? Sad thing is, she looks a whole lot better there than she does now :(

I located this starlight coupe up on woodward ave on the web. So i called a freind of mine up in south bend and told him i would buy it if he would help me get it back to the hills of ky.knowing he was out of a job at the time.i also told him i would buy the beer-smoke-gas. And pay him for his time.like a true freind...he jumped on the chance me and the wife drove up two days later to south bend.the trailer was hooked up and off my freind and i went. This car owned buy a little old black lady sat out on woodward for years.after her passing her grandkids put it up for sale.2 months after the pic was takin. Thats my friend darren and my youngest son jarrett.darren found out he had cancer. He only lived a month after that.so that was our last adventure together.that was nine months ago.and it still dont seem real.

My car started as 2 cars. One frame one for the body.

  26. My car started out as a whole buncha cars! Got parts from Florida to Oregon in it..started out as a stock car racer body, cut into pieces and stored in the rafters ..[only used the top in the finished body] traded a 53 stude coupe for the rolling chassis..[only used the bare frame for the chassis] ...damn, I've bought a lotta parts and driven a lotta miles to get them and I'm still not done!
