Event Coverage 2012 Groundhog Gala

Hey Folks, sorry for dropping the ball on this post. Wanted to list the info for the upcoming Misfires Groundhog Gala Car Show. ASAP
Will be Feb4th, 10-4pm at Route 46 Cafe Sanford, Fl. http://www.route-46.com/
Basically same format as last year. Pre-64 Hot Rods, Customs, Choppers etc... Those of you on the board know what the "etc" is all about.
$20 entry fee for each car, free admission to all spectators. $25 vendors spots, first come first serve. Please no outside BBQ or booze. Thats how the place pays its bills. RT 46 owner promised there will be plenty of outside food and beverages this year, no waiting in long lines for a beer or water.No pre-regs this year, sorry. Hope to see all you regulars and a few newcomers there.

Just searched on-line. There are several hotels just down the street from the show. The Days Inn, Spring Hill Suites, and Comfort Inn & Suites.

Question. For those of us that are traveling and need a room. Is there any interest in all staying at one place to conduct our usual parking lot festivities ; ) Let's here it!

Also, wanted to mention...last year we promoted bringing out a few "projects" or "in the works" cars. Same goes for this year. Without getting carried away, if you want to showcase your progress and craftsmanship, by all means, bring it/trailer it. Should have enough room to park a few.

Glad you are bringin' the ole' girl. She may be a stocker,(1927 Huppmobile) but I think all the gearheads will truly appreciate a peek into early 20th century engineering. Nice job on breathing life back into a 20 year hibernation. Very cool that it was found, right off Park Avenue. ...who knew???
