Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by specsintexas, Jan 11, 2012.

  1. Need to repair some stainless steel trim. I heard that silver solder can be used to repair and/or join stainless trim. Anybody have some ideas or experience using silver solder? Let here it.

I've used silver solder to affix the 1/4 vent window pivots back to the frame, If joining S/S trim pieces that requires butt welding, I'd use a TIG and file them up when finished.
