Heres my Olds after a 25 year nap.I bought it in 81.Drove it unrestored for awhile then completely stripped her down and restored every inch. That was back when NOS stuff could be had at Hershey so its good lots of that.
I got married in 87 and the old girl(car) was put to the side and life carried on....and on etc.
The plans are for a 52 303 w/hydro auto, easy fit.Dropped spindles and shorter rear coils.Skirts, visor, spotlights, accessory wheel covers. No cutting.Cobalt Blue will match interior better. Will post more when the heavy is on!! Its parked next to my avitar Tub and they do not get along!!!

One of the guys in our club has a sweet Olds like that. I think his is a model 66? Beautiful car. His user name is Inked. Lots of pics in his profile.

Awesome car. Love this year for olds. Should make a cool cruiser. Not all of them need to be cut up

That's a nice 76 or 78 you have there. Look forward to seeing updates to inspire me to finish my '46 76.

I bet the old girl is ready to you got back on er.
I have a 38 Chevy coupe that Ive had since 74 and it took about a 15 year nap starting in '80 while the kids were growning up. It wanted to do quite a bit of updates to it at the time and just couldn't get started on it due to the new finances and resposibilities. Finally tackled it in about 95 when I could get some time alone and did the second frame off rebuild.
I know your going to enjoy every minute of the time you spend on it now. Keep us posted.
Hey and dont worry about them getting along, each will find its place soon.

I love all those fastback beauties, that is gorgeous. Sounds like a nice treatment planned, please no trim or chrome removal. All that glorius gleaming stuff is gone these days. Best wishes for the build going well for you. ~sololobo~

I totally agree with you. The shaving madness has gone way too far.
