I vote for the Buicks. Clean and period perfect. Pontiacs are nice too, but more common since they are being repopped.

'54 Buick, the one on the right, doesn't have the recessed glass.

1950 Pontiac on the left, and you can get them from Speedway Motors reasonably priced.

    Here's a picture of a set on my '32 3W.
I went them because they hide the bolt and you can't over tighten and break the glass.

Are you trying to show us something in the Street Rodder magazine ?
Did you get your car in there !

May be tough cause do not know if anyone is still making them. Your best bet is to check e-Bay and the big swap meets. I know at one point Glo-Brite made 'em.

The lense is repopped but not the housing. There is a big Buick supplier but I don't remember the name. A search would easily find it, try google.

I know they're out there, bought from them before, couldn't believe the after market support old Buicks have.

I believe these lenses would also work on 53 Buicks too.

If you look closely at the Buick taillight on the Right in your photo, it has the number "54" embedded in the lense...that locks-it in as a definite '54 Buick unit.

Many in those years were "stamped" with the year they fit as it made it easier for the parts department, body shops, etc., to replace correctly when needed.

The originals on my '53 Special 2Dr. had some crack's, checking, etc., and I ended up replacing them with units from Classic Buick. Excellent repros ! Good products...they specialize in Buicks and have lots of 50's-60's items.

"Bob's" is very good too, but they basically deal with 30's & 40's models.

    Hope this helps.

The ones I have are used. For the price you found em for Id go for new, unless you are wanting an older looking lens

  25. I run the Buick lenses on my Model A pickup and they look good.

I was lucky enough to find an NOS pair of replacement lenses at a swap meet a couple years ago.
