    Dee Wescott in Boring OR built a rolled over Olds 98 or some model into a nice shop truck back in the 50s, maybe Carl has restored it, I heard they had found it somewhere.

    Why not just buy an El Camino and go from there. The ones turned into pickups look as goofy as the shortened 55- 57s.

    Choprods work is spot on in the conversion. Elkys and Rancheros are far more common.

    Thanks for the extra pics guys!I am not a fan of the big wheels but I dig the rest of it! It looks like they might have used an Impala windshield when the chopped it?

    there was a 59 Cadillac that a guy around fargo had, done very nicely. and at a local wrecking yard there was a 57 Lincoln Premiere done well. it was built by an implement company i guess.

    That Chrysler would really make a wild ride. I had a friend in Tulsa that had built a 61 Chrysler, wish I could have seen more than pictures of it.:cool:

    I've got 61 Impala four door itching to have the C pillar moved over the B pillar and a bed to be put in.
