My recently rebuilt 289 is running lean. I have 51F jets and am considering how many steps up I should go. I live at sea level. Engine is bored .60 over, otherwise all stock. Carb is original size 2100 with 1.14 venturies, all set to spec. Plugs show tan with no carbon, very clean. Should I go up just a couple of sizes or more than that? Suggestions appreciated.

Went to this site and solved problem. Stepped up jet size to 56, put in the correct Holley power valve, rechecked wet float level, and replaced a faulty venturie gasket which was partially blocking fuel flow. Many belated thanks!! It runs great now:)!!
