That truck is beautiful! I gotta send that picture to the guy who just bought mine. He's been thinking about smoothies but your wheel & tire combo really looks good. What motor & tranny are you running?

The black '51 has a bone stock '67 289 with tri-y headers and Holley carb, doesn't even have an aluminum intake. Chassis is stock rails with Fatman frontend, 8 inch rear with 2.79 gears, C-4 automatic. Thats ride height, no air bags.
The pictures don't do the truck justice, looks much better in person.
    Thanks for the comments. Stu.

Anyone have a picture that used to be around of a 53-56 F100 that was red oxide or brown with cream frontend scallop? I think it had Waynes Hotrods on door or something similar??

I've since changed the rims to black steelies with 48 centers.. looks much better.. I would still love to find a 57.. Hell I would trade my 64 for one in a minute.. And my 64 Is CHERRY 292 Y block 3 Speed, and no rust EVER.. its killer. But thats how bad I want a 57....

67 or 68 Galaxie. The original owner talked me into selling it back to him.

Cool!! I know three gentlemen in the Carolinas who ran shops and would use this type of front end on 53-56 F100's. They rode real good

I like the toneau cover...how did you do it? Maybe some more pictures would help. Looks like the ideal way to store some things and maybe lock it also.
    thanks

  26. I think I saw your pickup in Pigeon Forge in 2010.

  27. Aluminium tonneau was custom made by:
    http://www.pros-pick.com/
My fuel filler which is in the box is now protected under the cover. (no lock as the cover is held down by the electric rams & the tailgate opens with inside latches). Also when traveling you can put suitcases, chairs, tools, etc and not only is it secure but the the cover protects contents from wind & rain as the "kit" comes with rails & weatherstripping. It can be operated by a inside rocker switch or with a remote key fob.
Pros Pick also made the stainless inside tailgate latches & the LED bed rail run, turn & stop lights.
