    good job , thats quite the mill , that v12 would be to cool in a t bucket

    Very interesting! I like v-12s. I have a 1990 BMW v-12 but they are complicated and expensive to keep running well. They sound sweet though when you remove the rear muffler.

    Brand new here. This inspires me! Just got word that I MUST get the '49 out of Mom's back yard. Needs paint & interior...( & maybe a V-12 :) ) if I can only find the time!

    Username comes from my son, who once referred to the '49 Coronette as a " '49 Corvette". 'Figured NOBODY wound have that UN...

    Cool thread.. build is comin along nice! I was wonderin how you u wew gonna put that 12 in with out it hittin the steering ill keep watchin the thread to see what u figure out.. hopefully this summer I'm gonna be buildin a new frame for my wayfarer & its gettin a cummins ...

    Yea the 4bt is what I was thinkin.. I seen a 65 caddi with it & knew I had to do it hahaha

    Woo hoo got the trans crossmember and the engine mounts in tonight, next is to start with either the exhaust or fan belt setup.

    ok so i know that i have not been updating this build but since my last post we have gotten married bought a new house ( new shop 28 x 40 heated insulated tons of light 16; overhead door 20' ceilings ) and the car has kinda taken a back seat but we are finally setup in the shop and ready to start to work again so keep your eyes on this thread hopefully by spring the car will run.

    Congrats on the house and shop! Oh and the marriage! I'm glad to see you aren't giving up on the swap when its getting tough...Inspirational for sure, can't wait to see more!

    Nice shop! How hard is it to heat with that burner? Is it oil fired?

    not bad at all it's a woodstove i have a ton of corrals that need to be cut down so when i need wood i just go cut some down i also have a forced air electric furnace as back up

    i have also cut off the old front clip and installed a nova clip (more parts easier to get) hopefully be putting a 10 bolt diff in as well once the car is done then ill look at the v12 again and probably go air ride
