Doesn't sound like a big deal, but this is the first time this car has been one color since I have owned it...

Here is the shot I have posted a billion times..

    Almost one piece..

    Almost a whole car..

    Chopped..

    From the rear...

And a shot of teh kid that won't smile..

    Metal work all done..

This is her today FINALLY in her first coat of primer...

The body comes off next and the chassis gets finish assembled, painted, engine fired, etc, then the body gets SHINY BLACK, then stick it all back together.

    See ya, -Abone.

    Enjoy your work!
Do you have another work area with serious metal shaping tools?
That garage looks sparse to do such beautiful work.

Have been lurking here alot lately.
The merc and 40 ford are great also.
The more time I spend here the less I am impressed with myself

I think there needs to be a reunion of all these "glossy black with Pontiac power" cars... it would be an awesome picture.

  22. No big deal? I LIVE for that day! Congrats. I still need to install inner and outer driver's door bottoms, fill the square holes and gaps on the driver's side from the chop and build a decklid from 2 bad ones...still need to roll a decklid skin. I love your louvered skin...didja buy it or build it?

Shit I better in gear you have caught me! I recently took my 34 down to my new shop. I plan on re-doing the tubular x member and changing the rear from 4-bar to ladder bar, and maybe changing from 4 bar front to hairpins, and change the motor mounts from BBC to 392 Hemi.
