  6. HAMBer by association? Hands down, Jim Hume. If you haven't seen the work he (and others) have done on the Treit & Davenport 'liner, check it out. Amazing stuff from start to finish (whenever that is...lol)

  7. I'll add Ron Covell to the list ... I know Ron lurks here ... and there's literally hundreds of HAMB threads featuring his work and/or recommending his books, DVDs, & classes ... including jmcglynn's "Covell Extreme Metalshaping Class" thread from Sept. 2009:

your question is a little unfair to single out "best"

the hamb community is filled with artists

elpolacko as an example but all great examples even in this little thread

  9. Um ... the title sez "Best Metal Shapers" (plural ... not singular).

You beat me to it. Seret has been touched by God himself. I've got also throw up Twenty Gallons. He can do more with less than anybody I know.

I agree with one of the above Posts, very hard to single out one particular "Artist", but how about NJ's own Pat Pryor, building a complete Model A Coupe from sheet stock, and now doing the same on a 32 Roadster Body!

And, it would be crazy not to include both Junior, (Fatabone) and Clark, who regularly turn rusty junk, into Art!

Almost forgot about Rick. I totally agree with you on this one. Ian Berky is pretty damn talented himself. Lets not forget the crew at Gambino's Kustoms, Cole Foster and the Salinas Boyz, Oz Kustoms, Masterson, Winfield, Lordz of Kustoms, HHR, and there are so many more.

Da Tinman, Bass, El Polacko, there are a lot of others too but these guys show us a lot. Have to show it. Thanks to them for the inspirations and fueling the storm.

I lurk on here but I must vote for Erickson (Sick Rick) at Exk he is nothing less than a pure artist. I am a painter, bodyman by trade and I am frigen amazed by his creativity and metal talents to go from a vision to a work of art.

The entire Willy's made by hand.

I just got back from SLC, UT and I stopped by Chris's shop "Salt Flat Speed Shop" and Chris has more talent than a lot of builders in So Cal.
