Ok so I know that i want to do either scallops or lace on the roof of my 64 pontiac its gonna be sitting low on supremes so its gonna be a custom!!! i just dont know what color to go with! I was thinking a light blue color or a light green with a heavy flake???? what do you guys suggest!? here is the car to get a idea!
I can't give you any specific recommendations, other than go to "color picker" http://www.colorpicker.com/ First, pick your main body color, then look at the complimentary, triad, and tetrad options for contrasting colors, or if you want something more subtle, look at the analogic option. interior is staying black, a buddy of mine was saying to do the roof in black with flake??? not sure tho
take your time selecting colors. search here for threads on customs to get ideas. also, look at every kustom car mag that you can to help decide layout style. look at other rides that are big like yours. as suggested above, check paint sites/books showing colors and flake, etc. colors that really pop on one car may not look so good on another. talk this all over ahead of time with whoever is going to do the work. so, guess this will be a mild custom since you do not mention any other mods to body or interior.
plans for the car is lower it, supremes, bellflowers, and I want to do the roof in some flake. as for body mods none. so i guess yes it will be a mild custom. thanks for the input guys!
With a white car with black interior you could do almost any colors you want . And than match it with some subtle scallops .that's what I did
