Im up here in michigan kinda far from the border other than evilbay where can i find mexican blankets??
I've bought them from farm stores TSC Rural King Etc... In the horse section... So if there is one near ya I'd start there..
The colorful ones for seats are normaly Navajo, I have some real mexican blankets they are pretty plain. Normally plaid or with a stripe. Unless I am spending time on the res I usually find them at a truck stop at least that is the best place to find them around here.
Your local thrift-store. I can't begin to say how many Mexi-blankets I've seen at the Goodwill, Value-Village, or St Vincent's...
You might want to check with your local weavers guild as well-I know a couple of weavers around here-namely through the one in Ingersoll ON who did that kind of blanket as well...
flea market and if you dont find any pay the cost and the shipping and i'll get some over here in cali and mail them to you.
When I needed some I went to "themexicanblanketcompany.com" They're out of Texas and had speedy shipping.
your in canton? just drive down to mexican town in detroit. there must be a hundred mexican stores on vernor.
most any western wear supplier or trading post carries them even hear in NH.also hundreds of on line stores.
Mexican town x2! There are several places there. Pick up some fresh tortillas and salsa while your there. Dixieland in Pontiac has em too. Jon
