I won a set from them on eBay, then they claimed they were backordered. I got them, but it took a while. Nice looking item but I haven't put them to use yet.

Harbor Fright has the same clamps...8 for 7.99 all day long.
Eastwood is overpriced on a lot of stuff.

I used them to re-weld the chop on my 31 tudor....could not have done it without them...in my opinion, a must-have for butt-welding sheetmetal. they allow for perfect alignment while also keeping a uniform gap for welding.

HF has them cheap like Dabirdguy said. Just used mine finally on my lower doorskin replacement. The only tool for some job.

Yeah, 8 for $7.99 from the same factory in China.
If I find something I like from Eastwood I surf the web until I find the SAME item for much less elsewhere....

They are easy enough to make yourself but unless you use scrap material they will cost more to make than buy.
I picked up three sets at HF one day and the only thing I don't like about them is that my fingers have a hard time holding the square key piece while putting things together. They might work better if a guy roughed up the surface on the square keys a bit so they didn't slip around.

I'd bet that half the guys on here would have where they could find some "banding strap" Manyoldcars and half of those would have to ask you what it is.
Years ago when I was working in a processing plant and receiving metal almost every day I had access to all the banding strap I could ever use in all different sizes but I'd have to drive to town and hunt for it in scrap piles and dumpsters now. The biggest expense would be for the wing nuts as it is a royal pain to have to fiddle with a wrench on hex nuts when you are trying to set those clamps by yourself and need to make adjustments. The wing nuts would be half the cost of buying them at HF If I bought the wing nuts at the local hardware store.
