Just drug this home last night. It had been sitting in a carport for years... I'm going to see if she will run with the flatty and throw some wide whites on and hopefully drive the snot out of her. Just what I needed...
Hey that thing is cool.. Good luck getting it started.. Those old flattys are pretty indestructible.....
Nice start. Would make a nice mild Custom w/ Plymouth ribbed bumpers. Ala the George Cerny chopped Plymouth wagon. If the engine is a no go, find a wrecked Mopar and swap in the drivetrain.
Those are awesome rides and room for the whole family. A little closer to the ground and you're good to go.
hey jeff, Is that one gonna get chopped and the back windows paneled in like the one you and Jason did? Cool old longroof! " Meanwhyle, back aboard The Tainted Pork "
Really cool wagon!! There's one runnin' around the Riverside area that is simular. Has a slant six and automatic in it. I took these pics of it a couple years ago at the Loma Linda Veterans car show. Keep us posted on the project.
I am not sure yet. I kinda liked the version with the hardtopped 1/4 windows better. For now I want to get her on the road and then get back to working on my fleetline...
The wagon is a 1952. Same as the 1951. Thanks to everyone. I am looking forward to tearing into this one. Been wanting a wagon for a while now, and two doors are my favorites...
