You sure you got the right barn? I think the one with the modified V8 was in the shed just down from that old beater!!! Only about another mile or so in.

Nice find. Can't wait to see it road worthy again.

  3. Actually the whole shifter is chrome from the tranny up, that kinda surprised me. I kept lookin for that other shed....damnit, just weren't there....lol

Cool beans. It's a flathead but just has one head. I like your plans. One of the guys a few years older than me here in town had one almost exactly like that, baby doll blue and all.

All Model A shift sticks were chrome-plated from the factory.

  11. Weird, every other one I have had was black. As for my plans I am going to restore it to exactly how it is, the way it was brought from California in 67. The only thing I plan to change are the wheels. I am going to put 40 model Ford 16" steelies on it with blackwall tires.

  12. Great find! Will we see it at the Perry Morris Square cruise-in's next summer? How about some pics of the banger hop-up mods? Keep us posted on the progress.

  13. Jim, I never go to those Perry Morris square shows. Not sure why, just haven't been in a couple of years. My favorites are the first Friday Cruise Ins in Ashland and the Wheelersburg Cruise Ins. I will post some more pics soon.

  14. I always go to Wheelersburg a few times each year....great cruise-in!

My club hosts a cruise-in on the 1st Friday of each month (May-Sept) at the Putnam County Bank at the Hurricane I-64 Exit, so I've never gone to Ashland, but heard that it is a good event.

I hope to see you and the "new" Model A next summer!

  19. That's most excellent. In many ways it's better than getting a hot rod with a flathead v8 'cos nothing's been butchered. You can do that yourself! :D Great find.

  20. Go to post #39 and you will see the light brother!

  21. ^^^what that guy said^^^^ but yeah I got it and it's pretty good. Pics are on page two I think
