take the wayback machine to 1973
sold my '66 tri-power GTO to build this car
(GTO was red/red and I didn't like that)

started with 1 owner '64
283-2bbl, 4sp, A/C, tilt, electric windows

changed to:

350 LT1
Edelbrock SY1 intake, 750 Holley DP
M21, scattershield, 4:11 12 bolt posi

car was stolen about 6 months later and recovered as a stripped shell

still have the same girl though

 

Sorry haven't chopped the roof,chopped is the name of the car show that it'll be at,would love to see some pics of yours though...

Yea Bo Huffs Ranchero is awesome ,saw it in Salina. Man you guys have some nice Elcaminos! I like the 59's.Wish I had one.

 

Here is my 59 el camino to add. Some killer rides on here! Anyone know where to find some lower front bumper valances??? These damn things are hard to find around here.. PM me if you know of any. Thanks, Rob

 

some shots of my 60... project has been stalled for a few (7!!) years now.....
sectioned 2 inches, chopped around 4.5 inches, with a 4 door hardtop roof and upper door sections.

 

Always wanted an older El Camino...so I made one

 

This by far is the baddest elk on the planet

 

Neaty-beaty daily drivey....new motor in spring, I can't wait! ( finally a little ass to it will be nice....) Still waiting in line for paint.....I think the Buick-nosed El-Co is wild...

This is incredible, it's been a fantasy of mine to build this, but you beat me to it.

 

I've often wondered if this was possible, I think it looks dead on.

 

Makes me want another El Camino. I miss my '66.

 

Does anyone have any more info on this one... I love the colors. It also looks like the car that is in the credits of Chop Cut Rebuild.

LOL, BUT yours will probably be done first....I have 2 other projects in the garage that need attention, before I can get this one back in.

 

Bullet Nose, it's a 1960 but it's a modified Mercedes Benz underneath, it still exists not far from where I live.

 

Do you have any better pictures? If you were to tire of it, would you consider selling it?

 

Next to trucks and wagons rancheros and elcaminos are my cup a tea.
