take the wayback machine to 1973
sold my '66 tri-power GTO to build this car
(GTO was red/red and I didn't like that)

    started with 1 owner '64
    283-2bbl, 4sp, A/C, tilt, electric windows

    changed to:

    350 LT1
Edelbrock SY1 intake, 750 Holley DP
    M21, scattershield, 4:11 12 bolt posi

car was stolen about 6 months later and recovered as a stripped shell

still have the same girl though

This is incredible, it's been a fantasy of mine to build this, but you beat me to it.

I've often wondered if this was possible, I think it looks dead on.

  18. Makes me want another El Camino. I miss my '66.

  19. Does anyone have any more info on this one... I love the colors. It also looks like the car that is in the credits of Chop Cut Rebuild.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Bullet Nose, it's a 1960 but it's a modified Mercedes Benz underneath, it still exists not far from where I live.

Do you have any better pictures? If you were to tire of it, would you consider selling it?
