This past weekend my friend and I ventured into a local junkyard and I brought along my camera. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks

Very cool!!! I love the way they look! I do have a couple questions about the vehicles though, the first pic, is that an A-100? if so is that a factory side moulding? I have never seen that before if it is, I would love more info if that is the case. And then the 3rd pic, the international cabover, is that truck for sale and if so can I get the info on it, I am needing parts off that truck badly. Keep up the photagraphy, it is great! How about some details on it, what camera and setings and such, I would love to be able to do that kind of stuff however I have about 0 talent when it come to that. Jim

Your photographs look like paintings. How did you do that?

I will try to get some info for all you guys the next time I head out which should be this weekend. As far as the camera, I use my Nikon D40x and then edit them in Photoshop.

Cool doesn't do the photos justice, they look like Wyeth paintings, and the composition - especially on the first three - is fantastic. You could sell them.
May I ask what camera you used?

oops too late I see you answered the camera question.

Great look to your pics. I think if any of those Econoline vans are 1967, grab the master cylinders off quick. Dual chamber, pedal already attached AND stop light switch on the end. THE perfect hot rod M/C.

Kinda neat. Gotta back off the effects though when it blows the highlights out to nothing and the sky starts banding rather than changing tone gradually.
Trying to use the HDR toning?
