  4. Just found this thread. There's nothing better then thrashing on a hot rod to get done for a show with your buddies, plus the "Titty Stomper" turned out just bitchin'. Thanks for sharing the build on the H.A.M.B.

So after a day of rest and reflection I just want to say Thanks!

The truck did pretty good, the throw out bearing is making some noise and the frame is going to need a little c notch in the rear......still lots of odds and ends to do, but all in all it was AWESOME!

It was a crazy couple of weeks! We worked full time at the shop and did this after hours and on the weekends.... an insane amount of hours!

It was so much fun! We diddn't get hung up on over fabricated brakets, or details..... We just built a Hot Rod, a real Hot Rod! Just like the 50's...... bro haha

    thanks to all that helped!

Young Jeff "Potsie" Busted his ass! His talent is amazing, he is the future! He worked every hour I did on this thing....... crazy!

Kail just moved here from California, but I can't remember what it was like without him!
This is only the begining for us........

Johnny came to help from WI and it was kick ass..... I don't even know what to say.... he is the little brother I never had!

Mark Ford put in a bunch of hours as well..... he RULES!

    And everyone else at shop......
Magic, Luke, Rocco, James, even John Joyo the BUFFER.....

Paul helped out and brought a sweet salmon! He also blessed the truck with his Ozzy water.....

There is no way it could have happened without every one of those guys! It's been a long time since I have built anything for myself and these guys made it possible. I can't thank them enough!

This is a special little truck!

    The perfect Hamb build

This is what seems to be missing in our hobby, doing things the old way with old drivetrains, and with stuff laying around. It IS fun, and it always fits together extremly well.

You guys have done some impressive stuff in that shop.

Bob, it was a pleasure to follow along on the build and to see it a the Revolution. You guys rock! And the Jade Idol show you and Mark put on at the Continental Club was a helluva good way to end the day! I don't know how yall made it through the show as high energy as yall play but as always yall put on a damn fine show!

Congrats Bob!!! Just another reinforcement to the fact that it's always better with friends. And speaking of "reinforcements", this is also proof of what I never get tired of saying, "a hot rod can have fenders and still look bitchin". I see a lot of builds on here that the first thing they do is loose the fenders.................and along with them loose a lot of the charm of an old car/truck that's taking on a new life in the fast lane.
