How about the OHC Pontiac I-6? Very cool engine.

Borrowed my buddys wheels and tires to get it on the trailer, and I'm pretty happy with the stance. Fronts are wider and taller than the tires I'll eventually get, but it sits perfect to me.

Wow, this post pulled some old Pontiacs outta the woodwork. Nice to see some old tin Indians in the works. As most, love that back window shape which takes it out of the usual group. I loved the kidney shaped back window on my 33 Chevy. Rock on bro ~sololobo~

Swapped cars for the winter today...starting on bodywork on my stepdads Pontiac real soon... I'm super happy with the stance. Will look better with the tire and wheel package I want

  13. Love seeing the two cars together. You have to build a bigger garage to fit them both!

yup... started on the worse of the two cars (my stepdads) and the one I built in this thread is sitting dormat at his house... I should start a thread for the rescue of the other car. Just got it media blasted and I have a ton of work on my hands.

Also working on my brothers death trap in the past week the pontiac was out getting blasted.. making it bit less.... shady. Not my style and I take no credit for anything on that car other than the backhalf lol.

this car will never be chopped... its not worth compromising that rear window. I figure I can safely take 1.5" out, but its not quite worth it to me. I love the unchopped and channeled look. Thanks!

  19. Steve the car sits perfect! Keep up the great work.

    Damn Steve...can't believe I haven't seen this.

You still have my number? (Aaron, had the bagged red/white ranger) we should get together....just bought a 2000 Ranger, 4 link is on the way. Probably going to rob the Accuair from my car. I'll need some help setting it up if you're interested.

Car sits right, looks right. A ton of work, I just read the whole thread, it sis inspirational as I have a pile of tinim trying to turn into a car. By the way, your shop dog looks incredibly vicious, I bet he keeps the bad guys away!!

Steve, your decision on the top is straight up. The channel compliments it, as well as the NON-ass dragging stance. Rake looks just right! Good choice of tires, by the way.

The stock top with unique oval window will look 'Real George' rolling by...Very recognizable.
Wheelbase, Z'd frame, front crossmember...all in synch, just like a picture. Nice welds, too.
