valve adjustments on 215 inline 6

    im trying to figure out which are the exhaust valves and which are the intake valves... can someone help me out?

    The intakes are in front of the intake ports on the manifold and the exhausts are opposite the ports on the exhaust manifold.

    Look at the valve then look across the valve to whichever is connected to it. I think those start with exhaust and maybe the intake have the longer stem - i cannot be certain of that but i am certain if you are standing on the passenger side with ttols in hand you can look across the valve and see which either intake or exhaust manifold leads direct to the alve you are working on.

    Unless you're running something other than a stock cam, the clearance for both intake and exhaust, hot, are .015.

    That said, If I recall from many years ago, from the front of the engine the valves are:
    E I I E I E E I E I I E

    If it's an Old McDonald engine, it's E I E I O :D
