Shared space in a big old commercial unit up until Jan last year. Had this piece of land at the side of my home, it was covered in trees and not being used for much. I was very fortunate to get the necesasarysp? permits to build this Its full of various projects and tools now so I try and keep the doors closed I'll find one of the inside tomorrow!

You lucky bastards with the cool garages.I cram as much as I can in my 2 car with just enough room to build projects. It sure would be nice to have room like you guys.
A truck to die for; one of the coolest garages on the continent; talent out the ass: ................... it's official! I HATE JEFF NORWELL!
just an oversize 2 car, nothing spectacular like some of those already shown, but it is a great play room to me.

Holy Hell am I working in a shit hole ! I did up grade it last year by adding a piss tube thru the back wall for those really cold nights.
After looking through this thread and seeing the fantasic garages some of you have, I am even more devoted to a recent decision I made to put my current projects on hold and use the cash I had intended for them into a new shop building. Due to life circumstances: divorce (she got the house and my shop), financial issues (jobs, bills, and kids in college), and some overactive bad habits (tool junkie, motorcycles, and CRAP collecting), I have not had a decent indoor place to work on my automotive projects in over 12 years. I have a small 12 x 24 garage (2 pics), a dirt floored carport, 4 sheds (2 at home, 2 at my rental), and a 10 x 20 storage unit crammed full of all my assorted garage related S**T acquired over the last 25 plus years! My auto projects are stored in 4 different locations and need to finally come home for some overdue needed attention. Special thanks to my very patient family and friends. So, just this week, with Christmas, New Years, and a 45th birthday approaching, I decided it's time to stop talking about it and get it done. Plans are for a 30 x 40 pole barn with good quality doors/windows, 6-8 inch insulated walls, and a heated concrete floor by early Spring 2012. Look forward to posting pictures of a completed shop in the not to distant future.
goodfellow - Very cool, love the Sun equipment and the other vintage stuff you've got in there. Where did you find all those Sun testers?
Thanks -- mostly scrounging through small towns in western PA. A lot of small service stations are going belly up and they have this equipment squirreled away in back rooms and trailers.
A few shots from inside the garage... I am VERY thankful to have this wonderful place to escape. I enjoy just sitting out there drinking a beer and hanging out with the dog, even if we never touch the cars. Which seems to happen ALOT.
